The H9740 (1631) Encoder Sensor is an upgraded optical decoding component developed for large-format printers. It is designed for precise motion detection and stable signal transmission, helping keep printhead carriage positioning accurate and print quality consistent even during high-speed printing.

This model is suitable for multiple large-format printer models and features dual A/B channel output for accurate motion control. Compared with the H9730 model, it offers improved optical stability. It can be supplied with or without a signal cable, and its durable PCB plus heat-resistant casing help support long-term use.

Installation Notes

Before installing or replacing the encoder sensor, turn off the printer power. Make sure the optical window is aligned with the encoder strip, and keep a 0.3–0.6mm gap between the sensor and strip. The encoder strip should remain clean and free of dust.

Note: The H9740 (1631) is an enhanced version of the H9730, offering better decoding precision and signal stability for high-speed, large-format printers.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
